The successful candidate will oversee safety-compliant infrastructure inspections, coordinate with contractors and regulators, and help plan upgrades within Gauteng.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in electrical utilities or infrastructure.
• Knowledge of electrical distribution systems, protection schemes, and grid operations.
• Familiarity with South African electrical standards and regulations.
• Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergencies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain electrical distribution networks, including substations and overhead lines.
• Respond to and resolve electrical outages and service interruptions promptly.
