Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
- 7+ years in electrical maintenance in heavy industry.
- Experience with high/low voltage systems and motor controls.
- Proficiency in PLCs, SCADA, instrumentation.
- CMMS experience for maintenance planning.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage electrical maintenance programs including preventive and predictive maintenance.
- Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex electrical failures in plant machinery and control systems.
- Oversee repairs and modifications to electrical equipment, ensuring safety compliance.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Manage spare parts inventory for critical components.
- Ensure CMMS documentation for maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with production to minimise downtime.
- Champion safety initiatives within the department.
- Stay updated on new maintenance technologies.
