The role emphasizes high/medium voltage systems, substations, grid interconnection, and safety compliance, while guiding a team of engineers to deliver reliable power networks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 7+ years in electrical infrastructure engineering.
• PE or Pr. Eng registration required.
• Experience with high/medium voltage systems and substations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of electrical infrastructure projects.
• Oversee substations upgrades and new installations.
• Manage load forecasting, capacity planning and reliability studies.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards and safety regulations.
• Liaise with utilities, regulators and external consultants.
• Mentor and supervise engineers and technicians.
• Manage budgets, schedules and resources.
