Placements24’s client, a leader in energy infrastructure, seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer for Randburg, Gauteng. Lead HV/MV design, substations, and renewables integration, guiding projects from concept to commissioning.

You will mentor junior engineers, review vendor docs, and ensure compliance with standards. PE registration (ECSA) is required, with 7–10 years in power systems design.

Formación

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems specialization.
• 7–10 years of progressive experience in electrical power systems design and engineering.
• Proficiency with power system analysis software and protection schemes.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the electrical design of HV/MV power systems incl. substations and networks.
• Develop detailed engineering designs, specs, and calculations.
• Perform power system studies (load flow, faults, stability, arc flash).
• Ensure compliance with national/international standards and regulations.
• Mentor junior engineers and review vendor documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for integrated delivery.
