Placements24 is partnering with a pioneering sensor-technology firm to hire a Senior Electrical Hardware Engineer for a fully remote role. You will design and develop complex analog and digital hardware, from concept through production, collaborating with firmware, mechanical, and product teams.

The role emphasizes rigorous design, simulation, testing, and documentation, with ownership of challenging projects and impact on industrial sensor systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years hands-on experience in electrical hardware design.
• Strong proficiency with schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Experience with analog/digital circuit design and embedded systems.
• In-depth knowledge of lab equipment and testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate analog and digital circuits and systems.
• Create schematics, PCB layouts, and BOMs using industry tools.
• Perform circuit simulations to optimize designs and predict performance.
• Test and debug prototype hardware to ensure reliability.
• Collaborate with firmware and software engineers to integrate hardware.
• Select components balancing performance, cost, and availability.
• Document designs and test results comprehensively.
• Stay current with new hardware technologies and best practices.
