Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join a fully remote team. You will own advanced electrical system design from concept through production, mentor engineers, and drive technical integrity.

Requires a Master's in Electrical Engineering and 7+ years of experience in analog/digital circuits, power management, and microcontrollers; proficient with Cadence/PADS and SPICE, with a strong EMC/SI background.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
7+ years of progressive experience in electrical design and product development.
Expertise in analog and digital circuit design, power management, and microcontrollers.
Proficiency with EDA tools (e.g., Cadence, PADS) and simulation software (e.g., SPICE).
Strong understanding of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and signal integrity principles.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of complex electrical systems from concept to production.
Create detailed electrical schematics, PCB layouts, and Bill of Materials using industry-standard tools.
Conduct performance analysis, simulation, and verification of electrical designs.
Collaborate with cross-functional remote teams, including firmware, mechanical, and software engineers.
Ensure designs meet all performance, cost, and reliability requirements.
Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
