Placements24 is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our remote product development team. The role requires deep expertise in electrical system design, component selection, and integration for complex technologies.

Lead design efforts, mentor junior engineers, and drive from concept to production in a flexible home-based environment. A Master’s in Electrical Engineering and 10+ years in electrical product design with schematic capture and PCB layout proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical product design.
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools (Altium, Cadence).
• Deep knowledge of analog and digital circuit design, power management, and microcontrollers.
• Proven ability to manage complex design projects and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and remote teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical design process from concept to mass production.
• Develop detailed schematics, PCB layouts, and system architecture docs.
• Select and specify components for cost, performance and reliability.
• Perform design simulations, worst-case analyses, and power budgets.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, and firmware teams in a remote setting.
• Conduct design reviews and implement robust solutions.
• Mentor junior electrical engineers and support their development.
