Job summary

Goldwind Africa is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical interfaces with clients, designers, suppliers and constructors across wind farm projects. The role covers proposal management, cost estimation, and EPC bid support within South Africa and other African countries.

You will develop engineering systems, supervise design reviews, and ensure QA/QC throughout construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning, while driving IMS compliance and safety on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering with heavy current focus.
• Professional registration with ECSA or eligible to register.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in electrical projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead interfacing with clients, designers, suppliers and constructors.
• Manage BOQ preparation, cost estimation and EPC bid support.
• Oversee design reviews and ensure QA/QC of electrical works.
