Job summary

Placements24 in a remote-first role seeks a Senior Security Analyst specializing in Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR). You will tune and optimize EDR platforms to detect and neutralize advanced endpoint threats for diverse clients.

The role requires extensive experience in incident response, threat hunting, and collaboration with threat intelligence teams. You will mentor junior analysts and contribute to security policy development while working from your preferred location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Cybersecurity, CS, or a related field.
• At least 5 years in information security with 3+ years in endpoint security/EDR.
• Experience with major EDR platforms.
• Strong OS/network knowledge.
• Scripting proficiency a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and tune EDR solutions for optimal threat detection.
• Investigate alerts, perform incident response, and conduct forensics.
• Develop custom detection rules and playbooks.
• Collaborate with threat intel to integrate IOCs and TTPs.
• Mentor junior analysts and help shape security policies.
