Placements24 is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst for a fully remote role. The successful candidate will monitor SIEM/EDR environments, conduct investigations, and lead incident response efforts while staying ahead of evolving threats.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in security, strong SIEM/EDR experience, and a solid background in vulnerability management and incident response. Certifications like CISSP/GIAC/CEH are a plus, with excellent reporting and communication skills.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a cybersecurity role, with a focus on threat detection, incident response, and analysis.
• Proven experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight).
• Knowledge of vulnerability management and penetration testing methodologies.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor security systems, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, and EDR, for suspicious activities and potential security incidents.
• Conduct in-depth investigations of security alerts and anomalies, determining the scope and impact of potential breaches.
• Develop and execute comprehensive incident response plans to effectively mitigate security threats.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address security weaknesses.
• Analyze threat intelligence and stay current with the latest cybersecurity trends and attack vectors.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance organizational security posture.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to implement security controls and ensure compliance.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on cybersecurity matters to internal teams and clients.
• Create detailed reports on security incidents, vulnerabilities, and remediation efforts.
