Placements24 is seeking a Senior E-commerce Platform Manager in Mossel Bay to lead the development, optimization, and maintenance of the core e-commerce platform. You will drive strategic initiatives, oversee integrations, and collaborate with Marketing, IT, and UX/UI teams to deliver a seamless shopping experience.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in e-commerce platform management, hands-on experience with Magento/Shopify Plus/Salesforce Commerce Cloud, and strong project management in an Agile

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in e-commerce platform management or related digital product management.
• Proven experience with large-scale e-commerce platforms (Magento, Shopify Plus, Salesforce Commerce Cloud).
• Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, UX/UI, and CRO.
• Excellent project management with Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in data analysis using Google Analytics.
• Experience with API integrations and third-party platform integrations.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder communication skills.
• On-site Mossel Bay, Western Cape office.

Aufgaben

• Lead the strategic roadmap and day-to-day operations of the e-commerce platform.
• Oversee platform development projects, integrations and upgrades.
• Collaborate with Marketing, IT, Operations, UX/UI to define requirements and deliver enhancements.

• Monitor platform performance, uptime and security, ensuring data integrity.

• Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
• Manage the e-commerce platform budget and resource allocation.
• Stay informed about emerging e-commerce technologies and trends, recommending adoption where beneficial.
