Placements24 is seeking a Senior E-commerce Manager to lead the online business from Randburg, Gauteng. The role requires a visionary leader to drive revenue growth, optimize customer experience, and manage all facets of the e-commerce platform.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for the e-commerce business with focus on revenue growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for the e-commerce business, focusing on revenue growth, market share expansion, and profitability.
• Oversee all aspects of the e-commerce platform, including website management, product merchandising, and customer experience optimization.
• Lead and mentor a team of e-commerce professionals, including marketing, operations, and customer service specialists.
• Manage and optimize digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and affiliate programs, to drive qualified traffic and conversions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in e-commerce management, with a strong emphasis on strategy, growth, and team leadership.
• Demonstrated success in driving significant revenue growth and improving key e-commerce metrics (conversion rate, AOV, LTV).
• Expertise in digital marketing strategies and execution, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, technologies, and best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Proven leadership and team management capabilities, with experience in mentoring and developing staff.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Experience in managing a P&L and budget responsibility.
