Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Senior E-commerce Data Analyst to join a fully remote team. You will analyze sales trends, customer behavior, and marketing campaign performance, and develop dashboards to track KPIs such as traffic, conversion, CAC, LTV, and sales.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in e-commerce.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Expertise in data analysis and visualization tools such as Python (Pandas, NumPy), R, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Proven experience with web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).

Responsibilities

• Analyze e-commerce sales data, customer behavior patterns, and market trends to identify key business opportunities and challenges.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track KPIs related to website traffic, conversion rates, customer acquisition cost, lifetime value, and sales.
• Utilize data visualization tools to present complex data in an easily understandable format for various stakeholders.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of marketing campaigns to measure effectiveness and provide recommendations for optimization.
• Perform A/B testing analysis and provide insights to improve website user experience and conversion rates.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, and operations teams to provide data-driven insights and support strategic initiatives.
• Identify data quality issues and work with relevant teams to implement solutions.
• Develop predictive models to forecast sales trends and customer behavior.
• Stay current with the latest data analysis tools, techniques, and e-commerce best practices.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
