Placements24 seeks an experienced Senior Drilling Fluids Engineer for a fully remote role, supporting drilling operations globally. The base may be in Mahikeng, North West, South Africa, but your work is location-independent, focusing on fluid design, performance, and issue resolution.
The role requires a minimum of 8 years in drilling fluids within Oil & Gas, strong rheology and chemistry knowledge, and the ability to manage client interactions remotely while delivering timely technical
Formación
- Bachelors degree in Chemical or Petroleum Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years of hands-on drilling fluids experience in Oil & Gas.
- Deep knowledge of drilling fluid properties, chemistry, and rheology.
- Experience with water-based, oil-based, and synthetic-based systems.
- Strong communication and remote-work capabilities.
Responsabilidades
- Design and optimize drilling fluid systems for specific well conditions.
- Provide real-time technical support and troubleshooting for drilling fluid operations.
- Analyze fluid properties and performance data for optimization.
- Recommend drilling fluid additives and treatments.
- Develop and implement drilling fluid programs and reports.
- Collaborate with drilling engineers and rig site personnel to meet targets.
- Train and transfer knowledge to junior engineers.
