Placements24 is seeking an experienced Drilling Fluids Engineer for a fully remote role in the Oil & Gas industry. This position supports projects globally with expert design, troubleshooting, and optimization of drilling fluid systems from your home office.
The ideal candidate will have 6+ years in drilling fluids, strong knowledge of chemistry, rheology, filtration and wellbore stability, and the ability to communicate effectively in a remote environment with diverse teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years hands-on experience as a Drilling Fluids Engineer, with field support.
- Expertise in drilling fluid chemistry, rheology, filtration, and wellbore stability.
Responsibilities
- Provide remote expert consultation on drilling fluid design and application.
- Analyze drilling fluid data and performance reports to identify issues.
- Troubleshoot drilling fluid challenges remotely with guidance.
- Develop and refine drilling fluid programs to optimize performance and reduce costs.
- Review lab testing results and provide recommendations.
- Collaborate with on-site teams via virtual channels.
