The role requires a minimum of 8 years in drilling fluids within Oil & Gas, strong rheology and chemistry knowledge, and the ability to manage client interactions remotely while delivering timely technical

• Minimum 8 years of hands-on drilling fluids experience in Oil & Gas.

About the Role

While the operational base might be associated with Mahikeng, North West, ZA , the role itself is location-independent. You will be responsible for advising on drilling fluid system design, performance, and problem-solving to optimize drilling efficiency and wellbore integrity. Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience as a Drilling Fluids Engineer in the Oil & Gas industry.
• In-depth knowledge of drilling fluid properties, chemistry, and rheology.
• Proven experience in troubleshooting drilling fluid issues and optimizing fluid performance.
• Familiarity with various drilling fluid systems (water-based, oil-based, synthetic-based).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage responsibilities effectively in a remote work environment.
