Job summary

NTT DATA in Johannesburg seeks a senior Cross-Technology Sales Specialist focused on Data & Analytics. You will prospect, qualify, and close deals with MEA senior stakeholders, shaping proposals and commercial constructs.

Collaborate with practice SMEs, solution architects, and hyperscaler partners to deliver end-to-end sales cycles, maintain accurate forecasts, and help clients unlock data-driven value while advancing NTT DATA's growth in the region.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of sales experience, with at least 10 years focused on Data & Analytics technology solutions (MDM, Data Quality, Data Governance, Data Engineering and Data Cloud platforms)
• Proven track record of achieving/exceeding Data & Analytics quotas within MEA, ideally within a GSI, consulting, or technology services environment.
• Strong network of client and partner relationships in-country.
• Solid understanding of data platforms, analytics tools, and AI/ML solution offerings.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a robust pipeline of Data & Analytics opportunities across target accounts within MEA, aligned to company growth targets.
• Develop deep relationships with C-level and senior stakeholders (CDOs, CIOs, CTOs, Heads of Analytics) to understand business challenges and position relevant solutions.
• Collaborate with practice SMEs, solution architects, and delivery teams to shape compelling proposals, RFP responses, and commercial constructs.
• Drive the end-to-end Data & Analytics sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, solutioning, negotiation, and deal closure.
• Partner with hyperscaler and technology alliances (e.g., AWS, Microsoft, Google Cloud, Snowflake, Databricks) to develop joint strategic sales motion within targeted accounts.
• Maintain TCV forecasting, pipeline reporting and ACV estimating
• Represent the company at local industry events, forums, and client engagements to build brand visibility and thought leadership.
• Stay current on local market trends, regulatory considerations, and competitive landscape affecting Data & Analytics buying decisions.
