Placements24 seeks a skilled Construction Planner for projects in Upington, Northern Cape. The role focuses on creating and managing detailed schedules, aligning resources, and ensuring timely delivery across site teams and engineers.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction planning, with expertise in Primavera P6, MS Project, or Asta PowerProject, and a solid grasp of construction methods and risk mitigation.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in construction planning and scheduling.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or Asta PowerProject.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing and resource management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using planning software.
• Define project scope, phases, activities, and milestones with project teams.
• Identify critical path activities and mitigation strategies for risks.
• Monitor progress against the baseline schedule and report deviations.
• Analyze performance data and provide insights for schedule optimization.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely materials delivery.
• Prepare resource-loaded schedules and manage allocations.
• Develop look-ahead schedules and assist in short-term planning.
• Participate in project meetings to discuss status and solutions.
• Ensure compliance with planning procedures and standards on Upington projects.
