The role requires 6+ years of planning experience, expertise in Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project, and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Durban-based with a focus on efficient resource utilization and project success.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of construction planning and scheduling experience.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed master schedules for complex construction projects, incorporating all phases, activities, and milestones.
• Analyze project requirements, identify critical path activities, and forecast potential delays or resource constraints.
• Coordinate with project teams to gather information for schedule updates, progress tracking, and reporting.
• Utilize advanced planning software to create visual representations of project timelines, such as Gantt charts and network diagrams.
• Conduct schedule risk analysis and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project deadlines are met.
• Review and approve contractor-submitted schedules and progress reports, ensuring alignment with overall project objectives in Durban.
