This hybrid role combines on-site coordination in Paarl with flexible remote work, leveraging your expertise in sequencing, risk analysis, and planning software to set realistic timelines.

You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site teams, maintain schedules against baselines, identify critical paths, and develop recovery plans

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in construction management or engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of construction planning and scheduling experience.
• Proven proficiency with Primavera P6, MS Project or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of sequencing, critical path, and resource planning.
• Excellent communication with project stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed master schedules and look-ahead programs for projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site teams for data gathering.
• Analyze scope, specs, and resources to set realistic timelines.
• Monitor progress against baselines and flag delays or deviations.
• Prepare progress reports highlighting critical path activities and risks.
• Update schedules based on site progress and changes.
• Assist in creating recovery plans for schedule slippage.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Contribute to risk management with schedule-related mitigation strategies.
• Maintain thorough project documentation for scheduling and progress.
