Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Project Planner for our construction portfolio in Mahikeng, North West. The role blends office work with site visits to monitor progress and ensure on-time delivery.

You will develop and maintain detailed schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project, identify critical activities, and collaborate with engineers and site supervisors to keep projects aligned with baselines and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project planning within construction.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project is mandatory.
• Understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and ability to coordinate with diverse teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Experience in cost control and resource management is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using planning software.
• Identify milestones, critical activities, and potential delays.
• Perform critical path analysis and develop recovery plans.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors for schedule info.
