Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Construction Project Manager to lead building and infrastructure projects in the Pretoria area. You will plan, manage, and execute projects from inception to handover, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget while showcasing strong leadership and organizational skills.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in construction-related field and a minimum of seven years of PM experience in construction, with proficiency in MS Project and Primavera.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of proven experience as a Project Manager in construction.
• Demonstrated track record delivering complex projects on time and on budget.
• Proficient in MS Project, Primavera and other PM softwares.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans with scope, timelines and resources.
• Oversee on-site construction activities and manage teams/subcontractors.
• Control project costs and approve expenditures within limits.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, codes and quality standards.
• Maintain stakeholder communications with regular progress updates.
• Identify and mitigate project risks to prevent delays and cost overruns.
