Placements24 seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead major commercial development projects in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. The role demands a proactive leader capable of guiding projects from initiation to handover, with a strong grasp of budgets, schedules, and stakeholder engagement.

Successful candidates will have a Bachelor's in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, 7+ years in construction PM, and proficiency in MS Project or Primavera P6. A Durban-based relocation may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive project management experience in construction, preferably commercial developments.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale projects from inception to completion.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, codes, and safety regs in SA.
• Proficiency with MS Project or Primavera P6.

Responsabilités

• Oversee all aspects of construction projects including planning, budgeting, scheduling and risk management.
• Lead project teams including site staff, subcontractors and consultants.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using project management software.
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality procedures on Durban sites.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers and regulators to align project goals.
