Placements24 in Durban seeks a Senior Construction Project Manager to lead the full lifecycle of major infrastructure ventures. You will drive scope, budget, schedule, and resource planning while coordinating clients, consultants, contractors and regulators to ensure successful delivery.

The role requires 10-15 years in infrastructure PM, strong leadership, and mastery of safety, quality and contractual standards.

Qualifications

• BEng or BTech in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Professional registration with ECSA (Pr Eng or Pr CM) is essential.
• 10-15 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in Durban and KwaZulu-Natal region.
• Familiarity with FIDIC or NEC contracts and procurement processes.
• Strong leadership, communication and conflict resolution skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage the full lifecycle of large-scale infrastructure construction projects.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, and resource allocation.
• Oversee project execution, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Manage and coordinate all project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, environmental, and contractual requirements.
• Control project costs and manage budgets effectively, identifying and mitigating financial risks.
• Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Oversee the procurement process for materials, equipment, and services.
• Manage project documentation, reporting, and communication.
• Resolve project-related issues and disputes efficiently.
