Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Master's degree or PMP certification is advantageous.
• Minimum 10 years in construction, with at least 5 years in PM on commercial projects.
• Proven track record delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Knowledge of SA construction codes and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency with project management software and office tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and financially control construction projects, focusing on commercial developments.
• Develop schedules, allocate resources, and monitor progress against plans.
• Coordinate site operations with subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance on sites in Durban.
• Oversee quality control and inspections to meet specifications.
• Manage client relationships and provide regular progress reports.
• Procure materials, negotiate contracts, and administer agreements.
