About the Role

This pivotal role involves managing all aspects of the construction process, from initial planning and procurement through to final handover. The successful candidate will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while maintaining a strong focus on health, safety, and environmental compliance. Key Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for the planning, execution, and financial control of construction projects, primarily focusing on commercial developments.
• Develop detailed project schedules, resource allocation plans, and budgets, and monitor progress against these plans.
• Manage site operations, including coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
• Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations on construction sites in Durban, implementing and enforcing safety protocols.
• Oversee quality control processes, conducting regular inspections to ensure work meets project specifications and industry standards.
• Manage client relationships, providing regular progress reports, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Procure materials and equipment, negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, and manage contract administration.

Requirements
