Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented HR Specialist focused on Compensation and Benefits for its Port Elizabeth operation. The role designs, implements and manages competitive pay and benefits programs, conducts market salary research, and ensures regulatory compliance for employees in the Eastern Cape.

You will partner with teams to maintain job grading, salary scales, vendor relationships, and total rewards statements, while providing guidance on C&B policies.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits administration.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and benchmarks.
• Proficiency in Excel and HRIS for data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage the company’s compensation and benefits programs in Port Elizabeth.
• Conduct market analysis and salary benchmarking to ensure competitive pay structures.
• Develop and maintain job grading and salary scales in line with company strategy.
• Manage employee benefits enrollment, claims processing, and vendor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with all legal requirements related to compensation and benefits.
• Provide support and guidance to employees and management on C&B policies and programs.
• Assist in the development of the annual total rewards statement for employees.
