Placements24 seeks a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Cloud Platforms to design, build, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications. You will lead critical services, mentor engineers, and influence architectural decisions in a remote-first environment.

The role requires cloud experience across AWS/Azure/GCP, proficiency in Python/Go/Java/C#, and strong containerization skills with Docker and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Extensive experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in Python, Go, Java, or C#.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-native applications on AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Ensure the reliability, security, and performance of cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices in software development and cloud engineering.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement effective solutions to ensure system uptime and stability.
