Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Cloud Network Engineer to design, implement and manage scalable cloud networks across AWS, Azure, and GCP. This fully remote role requires deep expertise in cloud networking, security, and automation to optimize performance and reliability for a global footprint.

You will lead network architecture discussions, build VPCs, subnets, routing, firewalls, and load balancers, and collaborate with development teams to deploy cloud services securely.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in network engineering with 4+ years in cloud networking.
• Strong scripting in Python/Bash and cloud provider networking services.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage secure and scalable cloud networks across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Develop and implement network automation using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Optimize cloud network performance, cost, and security posture with continuous monitoring.
• Manage VPCs, subnets, routing, firewalls, and load balancers in cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot complex cloud networking issues and collaborate with development teams.
• Lead architectural discussions and provide guidance on cloud networking best practices.
