Placements24 is seeking a Senior Software Engineer focused on cloud services to join a remote-first engineering team. You will architect, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-native applications and infrastructure, driving innovation and reliability across our cloud initiatives.

In this role you will design microservices, manage CI/CD pipelines, work across teams to define requirements, and mentor engineers while ensuring secure, cost-efficient cloud operations in a dynamic virtual environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/engineering.
• 5+ years in software development with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience with containers (Docker/Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code.
• Strong remote collaboration and agile teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-based solutions using microservices.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and security.
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews.
• Troubleshoot issues in production and pre-production environments.
