Placements24 is recruiting a Senior Software Engineer for a remote-first team building scalable cloud infrastructure. You will design, implement, and maintain resilient services across AWS/Azure/GCP with IaC, automation, and secure-by-default principles.

You will lead CI/CD pipelines, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product managers to deliver high-availability solutions for a global user base.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of professional software development and cloud engineering experience.
Proficiency with AWS, Azure, or GCP and cloud services.
Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or Java; scripting experience.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible.
Excellent problem-solving and remote collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code principles.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment, testing, and monitoring of applications.
Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues in distributed systems.
Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system health and proactive issue detection.
Contribute to architectural decisions and provide technical leadership on cloud native technologies and best practices.
Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of shared learning and technical ownership within the team.
