Placements24 is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a fully remote team supporting a global platform. You will design scalable cloud infrastructure, automate deployments, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to drive rapid development cycles.

You will implement Docker/Kubernetes, monitor systems for reliability, and automate operations while collaborating with development teams across geographies. A strong background in IaC and scripting is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or similar roles.
Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and services.
Expertise in IaC (Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet) and scripting (Bash, Python).
Hands-on with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
Proven ability to build and manage CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS/Azure/GCP.
Develop, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines to automate builds and deployments.
Implement and manage Docker and Kubernetes for deployment and scaling.
Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and improve reliability and uptime.
Automate operational tasks to boost efficiency and reduce manual work.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth production integration.
