Job summary

Placements24 seeks a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect with deep expertise in AWS to join the technology leadership team. This fully remote role designs scalable, secure cloud solutions aligned with business goals and collaborates with engineering, product, and business teams to define cloud strategy.

You will drive cloud adoption, oversee migrations, implement governance, and mentor engineers while delivering cost-effective workloads on AWS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of IT infrastructure and solutions architecture experience, with at least 5 years focused on AWS.
• Proven experience designing and deploying complex, mission-critical applications on AWS.
• Deep understanding of core AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps principles, IaC, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect robust, scalable, and highly available solutions on the AWS platform.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical cloud strategies.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on AWS services, best practices, and governance.
• Develop migration strategies for moving on-premises workloads to the cloud.
• Ensure security, compliance, and cost optimization are integral components of all cloud architectures.
• Evaluate and recommend new AWS services and technologies to enhance capabilities.
