Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Civil Infrastructure Project Manager to oversee major on-site road, water and sanitation projects in Mahikeng, North West. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, drive planning, and ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, 8+ years in infrastructure PM, and experience with MS Project or Primavera P6. PMP or master’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 8+ years of progressive project management in civil infrastructure.
• Experience with roads, bridges, water or wastewater projects.
• Knowledge of FIDIC or similar contracts.
• Proficiency with MS Project/Primavera P6 and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage civil infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
• Develop detailed project plans with resources, timelines, and risks.
• Oversee procurement, contracts, and vendor relations.
• Manage engineers, site supervisors, and subcontractors.
• Monitor progress, risks, and corrective actions.
• Ensure safety, quality, and environmental compliance on sites.
• Communicate with clients, authorities, and stakeholders.
• Manage budgets, costs, and financial reporting.
• Conduct site inspections and project reviews.
• Prepare comprehensive reports for senior management and clients.
