Key Responsibilities

• Conduct traffic impact studies, feasibility assessments, and geometric design for road networks.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery.
• Liaise with clients, provincial and municipal authorities, and other stakeholders to secure approvals and maintain project momentum.
• Oversee construction phase activities, providing technical guidance and ensuring quality control.
• Mentor and guide junior civil engineers and technicians involved in roads and transport projects.
• Prepare comprehensive technical reports, tender documentation, and project proposals.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant South African National Standards (SANS), geometric standards, and environmental regulations.
• Contribute to the selection and application of appropriate road materials and construction techniques.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in transportation or road engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PrEng) registration with ECSA or eligibility for registration.
