Placements24 is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer for a pivotal Upington position in the Northern Cape. The role centers on design, planning, and execution of essential infrastructure, including roads, water, and urban planning, with a mix of office and on-site oversight.

You will lead teams, mentor staff, and coordinate with clients and authorities to ensure timely, on-budget delivery while adhering to SA codes and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Professional registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) is highly preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in civil engineering with a strong focus on infrastructure.
• Experience in project management including planning, scheduling, and cost control.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and structural analysis tools.
• Strong knowledge of SA building codes, standards, and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities
