The role requires a strong chemical engineering background with 7+ years in process development, leadership abilities, and collaboration with R&D, engineering, and manufacturing to ensure safe, cost-effective operations.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years in chemical process development, scale-up, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with process simulation, DoE, and analytical techniques.
• Ability to manage complex projects in a hybrid work environment.
• Strong understanding of reaction engineering, thermodynamics, and separations.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and optimization of chemical processes, focusing on kinetics, scale-up, and safety.
• Design and execute lab and pilot plant experiments to validate designs and gather data.
• Develop detailed process documentation including P&IDs, mass and energy balances, and operating manuals.
• Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and manufacturing for technology transfer and implementation.
• Conduct hazard analyses (e.g., HAZOP) and implement safety measures for new processes.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to project planning and execution.
