Job summary

Uywanda is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to bridge client business needs and delivered solutions. You will gather and analyse requirements, document processes, and support solution design across our Project Management, Business Intelligence, and Organisational Effectiveness engagements.

You will elicit, document, and validate requirements with client stakeholders, analyse current-state processes, and translate business needs into clear specifications and user stories for delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Business Analysis certification (CBAP, CCBA, or equivalent) advantageous.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within a consulting environment.
• Experience with requirements management and process modelling tools (e.g. Visio, Lucidchart, JIRA/Confluence).
• Exposure to Agile and/or Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
• Sector experience within Financial Services, Energy, Manufacturing, or Consumer Goods advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, document, and validate business, functional, and non-functional requirements with client stakeholders.
• Analyse current-state business processes and identify opportunities for improvement or automation.
• Translate business requirements into clear specifications, user stories, and process documentation for delivery teams.
• Support solution design, testing, and user acceptance activities to ensure delivered solutions meet business needs.
• Facilitate workshops and interviews with stakeholders across varying levels of seniority.
• Produce process maps, business cases, and impact assessments to support decision-making.
