Placements24 is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for our prominent financial institution client in Benoni, Gauteng. The role focuses on translating business needs into technical solutions, driving requirements elicitation, process mapping, data analysis, and solution design to support IT projects aligned with strategic goals.

You will lead stakeholder workshops, create user stories and use cases, and mentor junior analysts, while collaborating with development and QA teams to deliver measurable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in financial services.
• Proven experience in requirements elicitation, process modeling, and documentation.
• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with UML, BPMN.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, document, and manage business and system requirements for IT projects.
• Conduct detailed process analysis and identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings with business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Develop functional specifications, user stories, and use cases.
• Create process flow diagrams, data models, and wireframes to visualize solutions.
