Job summary

IZI South Africa is seeking a Branch Officer (Senior/Management level) in Newcastle to support the Branch Manager with security operations. You will help implement security policies, oversee security staff, and ensure procedures are followed to protect assets and staff.

The role requires a proactive, results-driven mindset with a clear understanding of security’s role in a successful business unit and alignment to company values.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent and PSIRA Grade B with CIT.
• Firearm competency: handgun and shotgun for business purposes.
• Clear credit and criminal record; not a director of any business.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Establish and enforce security policies to protect assets and employees.
• Manage security personnel and resources.
• Ensure adherence to security regulations and standards.
• Investigate theft, vandalism and security breaches.
• Communicate policies to employees, customers and suppliers.
• Handle security incidents and emergencies.
• Audit and assess security procedures and systems.
