Placements24 is seeking a Senior BIM Architect to join our forward-thinking practice on a fully remote basis. You will develop BIM standards, templates, and workflows to ensure seamless design, construction, and facility management information.

The role requires SACAP registration, 8+ years in architectural design with 5+ years BIM, and expert proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360. You will lead BIM coordination, train staff, and champion digital construction technologies across projects

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior BIM Architect to join their innovative and forward-thinking practice, operating on a fully remote basis. This critical role will focus on leveraging Building Information Modeling (BIM) to enhance design quality, efficiency, and collaboration across all project stages. You will be responsible for establishing and managing BIM standards, workflows, and protocols, ensuring seamless integration of information for design, construction, and facility management. This position is ideal for a technically adept architect who thrives in a remote-first environment and is passionate about shaping the future of architectural practice through advanced digital technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage company-wide BIM standards , templates, and workflows.
• Lead BIM coordination meetings with project teams and external consultants to resolve clashes and optimize design integration.
• Provide technical expertise and training to architectural staff on BIM software and best practices.
• Oversee the creation and management of complex 3D models and associated data throughout the project lifecycle.
• Champion the adoption and advancement of digital construction technologies within the practice.
• Ensure all BIM deliverables meet project requirements and industry best practices for information management .

Requirements

• Professional Architect registration with SACAP or equivalent.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in architectural design, with at least 5 years focusing on BIM implementation and management.
• Expert proficiency in Revit and a comprehensive understanding of Navisworks, BIM 360, and other relevant BIM tools.
• Proven ability to develop and enforce BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and company BIM standards.
• Experience managing large, complex BIM projects and coordinating multi-disciplinary models.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, particularly effective in a remote setting .
