Our client is seeking a dedicated Remote Architectural BIM Specialist to join their fully remote team, supporting projects nationwide, with a focus on clients in the Durban region. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining Building Information Models (BIM) across various project phases, ensuring data integrity, model coordination, and efficient information exchange. You will work closely with distributed project teams, contributing to the successful digital delivery of complex architectural and construction projects. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage BIM standards and protocols for projects.
• Create, manage, and maintain high-quality BIM models from concept design through to construction documentation.
• Perform clash detection and coordination using BIM tools, resolving conflicts between different building systems.
• Generate construction drawings, schedules, and reports directly from BIM models.
• Provide technical support and training to project teams on BIM software and best practices.
• Collaborate with external consultants and contractors to ensure seamless BIM integration.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) as a BIM Specialist, BIM Coordinator, or similar role.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit and other BIM software (e.g., Navisworks, Solibri).
• Strong understanding of information management principles within the AEC industry.
• Experience with developing and enforcing BIM execution plans.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fully remote setting.
