About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Remote Senior BIM Architect to lead their Building Information Modeling (BIM) efforts across various projects, serving clients nationwide, including those in the Bloemfontein area. This role demands a high level of expertise in BIM methodologies, software, and implementation strategies. You will be responsible for setting BIM standards, managing complex models, ensuring interdisciplinary coordination, and driving the digital transformation within the architectural process. As a senior remote team member, you will mentor other BIM professionals and play a key role in defining the future of digital design and construction for the firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) for diverse architectural projects.
• Lead the creation and management of complex, data-rich BIM models using Revit and other relevant software.
• Oversee BIM coordination processes, facilitating clash detection and resolution among architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of model data for quantity take-offs, scheduling, and facility management.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior BIM staff and project teams.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define BIM deliverables and ensure client satisfaction.

Requirements
