About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Architectural BIM Specialist to join their fully remote team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing, developing, and implementing Building Information Modeling (BIM) standards and workflows across all projects. You will ensure the efficient use of BIM software and technologies to enhance design coordination, clash detection, and information management, supporting the delivery of high-quality architectural outcomes. This position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere, collaborating with project teams to integrate BIM best practices seamlessly into their remote workflows, contributing to impactful projects from Durban or your chosen remote location.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain BIM standards, templates, and libraries for architectural projects.
• Lead the implementation and management of BIM software (e.g., Revit) on various projects.
• Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing support to project teams on BIM best practices.
• Perform model audits, clash detection, and quality control checks to ensure data integrity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience focused on BIM implementation and management.
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit and a strong understanding of Navisworks, BIM 360, and other related software.
• Experience in developing and enforcing BIM execution plans.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Proven ability to train and support users in a remote working environment.
