Placements24 seeks a Senior Account Executive for Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal, to drive revenue growth and build strong client relationships within a defined territory.

You will own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and needs assessment to presenting tailored software solutions and closing complex deals. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of B2B software sales experience and exceptional negotiation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in B2B sales with 5+ years experience.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Strong ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Experience in software sales or related technology fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand the customer base in Pietermaritzburg and surrounding areas.
• Identify potential clients, generate leads, and build lasting relationships.
• Conduct needs assessments and present tailored software solutions.
• Demonstrate product value and explain complex technical features to diverse audiences.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and SLAs to close deals and ensure mutual benefit.
• Manage full sales cycle from lead generation to closing and post-sale follow-up.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to improve client satisfaction and contribute to product enhancements.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities in the CRM system.
