Job summary

Jobtailor in Cape Town seeks a senior cloud incident manager to provide remote third-line support for international clients, diagnose and resolve incidents, and drive technical project implementations focused on Microsoft Azure.

You will collaborate with service desk, vendors, and cross-functional teams, manage SLA commitments, document solutions, and mentor teammates while covering UK hours as needed.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years' experience with Microsoft Windows Server OS in an Enterprise environment.
• 2-5 years' experience with Microsoft Windows Active Directory Services.
• 2-5 years' experience with PowerShell scripting.
• AZ-900 Microsoft Azure Fundamentals.
• ITIL v3/v4 Foundation.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior third-line remote incident management, including diagnosis, investigation, and resolution, for multiple international customers
• Deliver technical project implementation services focused on cloud technologies
• Work with incident management, service desk, other technical teams, and customers as required
• Understand production-environment SLAs and proactively meet contractual commitments
• Provide detailed and effective communication to internal teams and customers
• Work directly with vendors to identify and apply innovative solutions to customer issues
• Follow through with vendors to achieve timely issue resolution
• Identify and contribute to customer service improvement suggestions, initiatives, and solution realization
• Develop and enhance cooperative interdepartmental relationships and communications
• Cover core UK hours as required
• Provide rotational out-of-hours standby cover
• Work approved overtime when required
