Placements24 in Vereeniging, Gauteng, is seeking a Senior Automotive Quality Assurance Engineer to strengthen our client’s quality program across product lifecycles. You will design QA strategies, lead audits, and drive CAPA with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in automotive QA, proficiency with IATF 16949, and strong data analysis skills. You’ll mentor junior staff and champion a culture of quality throughout production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance within automotive manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 and QMS.
• Experience with quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, PPAP, 8D.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage QA plans and procedures for automotive products.
• Conduct quality audits of manufacturing processes and lines.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement CAPA.
• Oversee testing and validation of components and systems to meet specs.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure incoming quality.
• Investigate customer complaints and field issues; root cause analysis.
