Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial) or related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance within the automotive manufacturing industry.
• In-depth knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001).
• Strong understanding of SPC, FMEA, and other quality tools.
• Experience with testing methodologies and equipment used in automotive QA.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel).
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills across departments.
• Experience in supplier quality management is a plus.
• Must be willing to work on-site in Cape Town.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement, and maintain robust quality assurance plans and procedures for automotive products.
• Conduct rigorous testing and inspection of automotive components and systems, both in-process and finished goods.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventive actions to address defects and non-conformities.
• Lead root cause analysis investigations for quality issues and ensure effective resolution.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to integrate quality principles into all stages of product development.
• Ensure compliance with relevant automotive industry standards (e.g., IATF 16949) and customer-specific requirements.
• Develop and deliver quality training programs for manufacturing and engineering personnel.
• Manage and maintain quality documentation, including test reports, inspection records, and audit findings.
• Perform internal audits and support external audits by regulatory bodies and customers.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
