The role requires a mechanical/electrical/industrial engineering background, 5+ years in automotive QA, and strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance within automotive manufacturing.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality management systems.
• Proficiency with SPC, FMEA, APQP, PPAP, and 8D problem solving.
• Strong analytical abilities and the ability to interpret complex data.
• Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and accuracy.
• Effective communication and collaboration across departments.
• Experience with statistical software and quality control charting.
• Familiarity with automotive industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures for automotive parts manufacturing.
• Conduct inspections and audits of production processes and finished products.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and R&D to resolve quality issues.
• Manage non-conformance, quarantine, and disposition of defective materials.
• Develop and maintain quality documentation, inspection reports, and manuals.
• Train production staff on quality standards and procedures.
• Stay updated with industry quality tools and standards (IATF 16949).
• Lead or participate in root cause analysis for customer complaints and failures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the quality management system.
