Placements24 is seeking a Senior Automotive Quality Assurance Engineer to join our client in Sandton, Gauteng, ZA. This on-site role focuses on assuring the quality of automotive components and systems through robust QA plans, testing, and continuous improvement.

You will lead audits, CAPA processes, and supplier quality activities, ensure IATF 16949 compliance, and mentor production and engineering teams to uphold the highest standards.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years in automotive QA roles.
• Solid knowledge of IATF 16949 and QA systems.
• Proficient with FMEA, SPC, PPAP, and 8D.
• Auditing and root-cause analysis proficiency.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain QA plans for automotive products.
• Audit manufacturing processes for compliance with standards.
• Lead product testing and validation activities.
• Analyze quality data, drive CAPA, and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and supply chain.
• Lead root cause investigations for failures and deviations.
• Ensure adherence to IATF 16949 and other certifications.
• Develop QA training for production and engineering teams.
• Manage supplier QA activities and supplier audits.
• Drive continuous quality improvements across processes.
